AION 2 Sorcerer build guide sources

• Element Enhancement is the first stigma to max (shr1kn has it at 15).
• PvE stigma set: Element Enhancement, Fire Wall, Cold Storm, Delayed Explosion. Uses Fire Wall, Cold Storm or Bittercold Wind, fixed in the Oct 14 patch.
• Levels inside that set differ. (Wakayashi: Fire Wall 20, Delayed Explosion 10, Cold Storm 5; shr1kn and aion2-guides.info: Fire Wall, Cold Storm, Delayed Explosion all 10.) Uses Fire Wall, Cold Storm or Bittercold Wind, fixed in the Oct 14 patch.
• Steel Barrier is the defensive swap-in stigma.
• Hellfire is the main skill: charge it fully and cast by hand, never from the macro.
• Core skills to raise to 16+: Hellfire, Firestorm, Blaze, Wish of Concentration, Bittercold Wind, Winter's Shackles, Flame Arrow.
• How high to level the core: Wakayashi takes Hellfire, Wish of Concentration, Bittercold Wind and Firestorm to 20. (shr1kn's early PvE build and aion2-guides.info stop at 16 for now; aion2-guides.info calls 16 the realistic ceiling until better arcana and rings.)
• Hellfire picks: +30% Skill Speed early, -15s cooldown at 16.
• Firestorm pick: each fireball cuts Hellfire's cooldown by 2s.
• Wish of Concentration picks: +10% Attack and +10% Combat Speed; shr1kn later swaps one for -10s all cooldowns.
• Winter's Shackles taken for its +20% PvE Damage Boost pick, timed into the burst window.
• Flame Arrow (basic attack) is held with the macro key for weaving and mana; its 16 pick resets Blaze on Pyroclasm.
• Bittercold Wind is levelled high (16–20). Uses Fire Wall, Cold Storm or Bittercold Wind, fixed in the Oct 14 patch.
• Ice Chain: keep it or drop it. (Wakayashi keeps it at 12, and aion2-guides.info relays aLuckyRO keeping it; shr1kn's PvE build leaves it at 1, and aion2-guides.info relays EUTOPIA dropping it.)
• Frost / Frost Burst in the PvE setup. (shr1kn PvE keeps both at 12; aion2-guides.info drops both for global endgame (Frost only for leveling mana); Wakayashi Frost Burst 12 only for the Ludra raid (evasion debuff), Frost not levelled.)
• Cooldown reduction is what scales the class (Wakayashi: mechanic needs a CDR breakpoint; aion2-guides.info: later gear with CDR changes the rotation).
• Keep MP above 50% — mana passives switch off below it; early mana is tight.
• Manastones: Attack, Critical Hit, Accuracy.
• Take Combat Speed and Cooldown Reduction nodes plus skill-level nodes of the core skills.
• Azphel is a PvP board and low priority for PvE.
• Place Fire Wall and Cold Storm only when the boss stands still, or they are wasted. Uses Fire Wall, Cold Storm or Bittercold Wind, fixed in the Oct 14 patch.
• Open the burst with Delayed Explosion, then a full-charge Hellfire into its damage debuff.
• Delayed Explosion sits inside the macro (with Blaze) rather than being cast by hand.
• Flame Scattershot is spammed only while the boss is staggered.
• Robe of Flame is the first passive to max; Fire Mark and Robe of Earth follow.
• Grace of Enhancement priority. (Wakayashi (#4) and aion2-guides.info (key passive) rank it high; shr1kn early PvE leaves it at level 3.)

• PvP stigmas built on Element Enhancement, Arctic Armor and Hibernation (shr1kn adds Soul Freeze; the Korean post adds Steel Barrier). One global source, one Korean server source.
• Arctic Armor is the first PvP stigma to max (Korean server).
• Bittercold Wind and Hellfire stay at their top level in PvP (shr1kn: 16 on global; the Korean post: 20 on the Korean server). Uses Fire Wall, Cold Storm or Bittercold Wind, fixed in the Oct 14 patch.
• Fire charged Hellfire only when the target is rooted, stunned or otherwise can't escape.
• Pop Steel Barrier ~2s before engaging; keep Arctic Armor for ~50% HP, Hibernation for emergencies.
• In PvP, use all buffs at once when you engage instead of saving them (Korean server).

Each source builds the PvE rotation around a fully charged Hellfire cast by hand, with Firestorm and Wish of Concentration picks that shorten its cooldown and Delayed Explosion opening the burst. Where they part is how far to level the supporting skills (16 or 20), and whether Ice Chain, Frost and Frost Burst earn a place; both sides are listed above with their sources. Fire Wall and Cold Storm, two of the four agreed PvE stigmas, are the skills the Oct 14 patch fixed, so their value may have changed since these guides were written.

The [Notice] Patch Notes | Oct. 13 (PDT) / Oct. 14 (CEST) changed 3 Sorcerer skills. The sources above were written before this patch or on the day it went live, so check the parts of a build that use these skills:

• Fire Wall: bonus damage now applies when there is a height difference; your Embers is no longer removed by another player's stronger Embers.
• Cold Storm: bonus damage now applies with a height difference; your Frostbite is no longer removed by another player's stronger Frostbite.
• Bittercold Wind: the Frost Cooldown Reduction effect now works with a height difference.

Sources marked Korean server are not checked on the global version. Two sources say global allows four stigma slots (see AION 2 builds), fewer than the Korean server, so a Korean stigma list may not fit as it is.
