AION 2 PvE and DPS tier lists
The PvE view holds five lists that rank different things: two rank group content (ExpCarry and Odealo), one ranks solo play and farming (ExpCarry), one ranks damage only (ExpCarry, from boss records on a DPS meter), and LagoFast's table does not say which mode it ranks, though the text around it describes PvE. A class can be high on the damage list and low on the group list, because the group lists also count what tanks, healers and buffers bring.
AION 2 PvP tier list
Only two sites published a PvP ranking we could read: Odealo (Oct 8) and LagoFast (Oct 10, again without a label on the table). Two lists are too few to read much into; the AION 2 class page compares the classes with NCSOFT's own facts if you are still choosing.

Why the AION 2 tier lists disagree
- They rank different things: overall, group PvE, solo, damage or PvP. The tool keeps them apart instead of mixing letters from different modes.
- They use different evidence. space4games counted the in-game leaderboards on one server the day after launch; ExpCarry cites a DPS meter; the others give no method.
- They are from different days: LagZapper wrote before the global launch (Sep 14), the rest between Oct 6 and Oct 10, 2026.
- None of them includes the Oct 13 (PDT) / Oct 14 (CEST) patch, which fixed three Sorcerer skills and one Spiritmaster summon (patch notes).
Tier lists we could not read
These sites rank for AION 2 tier list searches but did not open for us on Oct 15, 2026, so their letters are not on this page: Mobalytics (blocked by a bot check), IGN (403 error), Game8 (CloudFront error), Mein-MMO (blocked by a bot check), Skycoach (blocked by a bot check), TheGamer (connection error). We did not work around their blocks; they will be added if they open on a later check. The lists will be checked again within 7 days of each patch.
AION 2 tier list questions
Which class in AION 2 is the strongest?
The published lists do not agree. In the 4 overall lists we found, Gladiator got an S in 3; in the 2 PvP lists, Gladiator, Assassin got an S in 2. Every list is from before the Oct 14, 2026 patch, and we do not add a ranking of our own.
What is the best solo class in AION 2?
ExpCarry's solo and farming list (Oct 7, 2026) gives an S to Gladiator, Ranger, Spiritmaster. It is the only solo list we found; NCSOFT's Launch FAQ says AION 2 can be played solo or with friends.
Is there an AION 2 DPS tier list?
ExpCarry's PvE damage list (Oct 7, 2026), which it says follows top global boss records on the JaMeter DPS meter, gives an S to Assassin, Chanter, Sorcerer. Pick "PvE" in the tool to see it next to the other PvE lists.
How is this AION 2 tier list made?
Each column is copied from one site on Oct 15, 2026 with its page date. We do not average the letters or sort the classes by them; the class order is NCSOFT's. Lists we could not open are named on the page and not counted.
